This project was a one week workshop. This project is based on te French traditions of spending hours at the dinner table, and explores the notions of percieved good or bad table manners.
- Plates that facilitate the licking of food remnants, but has a side effect of spilling anything liquid.
- For those who whipe their hands on the tablecloth, cut along the perforated lines to detach a napkin.
- If your silverware is not fancy enough, or if you’re unsure of the proper placement the printed tablecloth helps you make a good impression.
- Be reminded if you inadvertently adopt the dreaded “elbow on the table” position. A hole on the tabletop will let you know about your bad posture.
This project has been realised in collaboration with Anh Mai Chau.
