A community crochet project commissioned by De Alliantie for the Staalmanplein neighborhood of Amsterdam, where my studio is located.
We reached out to the local inhabitants of the neighborhood, to teach them how to crochet with thick rope. Everyone was able to make their own pattern(s) to incorporate into a large fence, hanging around the newly built park.
The project has been realised in collaboration with Bram Geenen, Thomas Linssen and Reinier Bosch and Stella Teunissen.
